Given his alleged residence let's hope he's not a Leeds / Cas / Fev RL supporter. You can imagine the press comment if he is.
Fantastic, trial by Daily Mail, we know his name, which village he lives in, which pub he drinks in, what job he does, he has two small children, and he hasn't even been charged by the police yet, let alone found guilty.
In a strange twisted way I hope he doesn't get charged with anything now so that when he is sacked from his job, barred by his pub, his children are bullied and abused by their peers, his wife leaves him and they all have to flee the village - he can then sue The Mail.

Well it seems (allegedly) like another "grown up" Yorkshire man has shown your great (in your delusional brains) county up:

Allegedly his villagers sold him down the river. The DM asked for his ID and someone 'phoned in. People have to take responsibility for their behaviour.

They certainly do but when did the Mail get the power to arrange some sort of vigilante court, its a short step from fingering an alleged culprit to then arranging his/her punishment, a short step which I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the Mails editors are straining at the leash to put into practice.
When the newspaper owners start to make and administer the laws then you'll know its time to leave.

He's been charged now, so I guess we need to stop discussing it.
Yes, its funny that isn't it - when its a national newspaper they can accuse what the hell they like against who the hell they like as long as that person is not a multi-millionaire who is willing to use the law to vigourously defend their name, like certain pop artists for instance, I suppose a vending machine mechanic probably isn't in that league.
