Contagion 7/10

Quite a good film surprisingly. Was expecting the usual, over the top, heavy handed American treatment about mass destruction, but turned out to be quite thoughtful on its subject without offering a different theory as to where germ related death comes from. Only real quibbles were, a few of the sub-plots remained unaswered at the end of the film and Jude Law's cheesecutter. how very English...

Next week, The Haunting, which looks quite promising from the trailer, but remakes of The Thing and Straw Dogs look avoidable. Through viewing the trailers, both look to be lacking the aptmosphere of the originals.
