A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.
When you rescue a dog, you gain a heart for life.
Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't Eat it or Chew it. Pee on it and Walk Away.

I wouldn't say that I'm a proud person, but even if I were, my sins are forgiven as I have placed my faith in Jesus' atonement.
Soooooooo, by that reckoning if religous people think homosexuality is wrong, what if a religious homosexual who has placed his faith in Jesus' atonement have his sins forgiven?? Cos lets face it, there are plenty of religous homosexuals, who believe in God and live a moral life.
I love Jamie and have done since he was 10 years old.

Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Show me where the Bible says it is acceptable for me to rape and kill children.
Sodom & Gomorrah.
Better to offer your virgin daughters to be gang raped than to dare risk all-boy sex. In fact, doing so doesn't affect your status as the only person worth saving (and your daughters, of course, who then get you blotto and rape you to get preggers by daddy).
Then there's the story of Job, where your god decides to gamble with the lives of loads of people just because he has a bet with the devil he created.
Then there's demanding child sacrifice – you've read the story of Abraham, presumably? Classy
And the story of Onan – 'No! I won't rape my brothers widow'. And don't give us any of the: 'ah, but that was a different time and different culture', peeps, because that totally screws any argument about your god being for all time and for all peoples, and being perfect.
And there's all the other stuff – y'know, the laws you dismiss because you're a "gentile". Those laws were still laid down in your holy book by your god, who either thought they were a great idea (if not his own idea) and didn't do anything to disabuse people about them.
Nice geezer, this bloke you worship.
Do you also choose to worship murderers like, say, Ian Brady?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I cannot speak for them, but if they genuinely repent their sin (including sinful relations) in their heart then of course they are forgiven.
Christianity and homosexuality are not mutually exclusive.

Are those passages prescriptive? Or merely descriptive?

In that case, the ends justified the means, and you will will recall that Job was better off for it.

God has his own plan for the Nation of Israel (distinct from the modern State of Israel).

There is no joy in Hell. I'd think twice before making flippant remarks like that.
Why? Is God going to strike me down as I type??
I will not be going to Hell my friend because I don't believe in Heaven/Hell/Pergatory/Limbo. Even if there was a slightest chance that there was a Heaven and Hell, I have lived a full and moral life. I have not sinned in anyway, (well, nothing that a few Hail Marys wouldn't get me off).
Let's consider the case of bullying, then. The case against gay marriage as I understand it is that if you do it, then their invisible mate who decrees the rules, no arguments, will see to it that you burn in hellfire for all time.
Sounds like bullying to me.
Only if one believed in the scriptures. If one did then one would consider it not bullying but akin to fact.
