He not only allows it, since god is the creator and knows everything, he knew that such things would occur and effectively designed them to happen.

Santa is real, he lives in a place called the North Pole and he goes around the world in one night giving out pressies. I know he exists because I have seen what he does for me. And the criminal would still got to jail because jail is real, I can see it, you can see it, a judge can see it and the criminal can see it. I've never seen Heaven or Hell.

We have free will. What we do with that is our own choice. God does not need to intercede in every little thing which goes on in the world.

God does not interfere with this because his grace can only be given to those who seek it.
