Seriously, listen to me on this one, before you make an even bigger young fool out of yourself, it was an in-joke between two Ministers, nothing more, OK?

Governments have always run at deficits and by that single definition almost every Chancellor since time began has not actually had any cash in the bank (in fact Norman Lamont once had his personal credit card maxed out and refused in a wine shop, he got people sacked for revealing that - before you were born).

Stick to your political views, its what defines you, but don't keep swallowing the propaganda that you get fed as if its facts, it just makes you look silly.

The dossier? I've never defended Blair's involvement in a phoney US war in Iraq.

It doesn't excuse lies, half truths and broken promises by anyone, that is the politics of the playground.

All politicians lie, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Tory / Labour all lie. It's pretty much about who can get away with it the most effectively.

But to suggest things along the lines of, 'I can't remeber Labour ever lying' please, do me a favour.

It is still the politics of the playground, the big boy is doing it so why shouldn't I.
