I'd agree to a point. I'd say it was more to do with EA being a bunch of greedy pr1cks just out to make as much money out of people as possible at the expense of quality.
I seem to remember KOTOR being pretty much the same. Thinking back, the games have barely changed at all since the KOTOR games.
About 300 Game/Gamestation shops have closed this week, glad I used my last few quid I had on my gift card.
5 stores in Leeds have closed. One left at White Rose Centre which was the closest for me anyway so gonna go down tomorrow looking for deals but doubt there will be anything decent and I bet the stuff in there will still be extortionate!
More dumbing-down to appeal to the non-RPG'ers i suppose.
Maybe not, because the options you have at the beginning of the game would be more suited to that.
I mean seriously, who would want to go through ME3 and have as little combat scenario's as possible along with the game making choices for you? That is just ridiculous.
It's always been part of ME that didn't make sense: You're a major hero out to save the universe. You have the best ship around. But you have to scrape around for credits to upgrade hand guns.
In the first game there was a guy on your own bloody ship selling you weapons and armour! I also never worked out how I could carry 25 sniper rifles, 15 shotguns, 35 handguns, 15 weapon upgrades and 5 suits of armour all at once.
Been holding off on ME3, I am hoping that by the time I get round to buying it they will have changed the ending (I don't know what it is - and I don't want to know - I am just aware of how awful it's supposed to be and hope to completely avoid it).

You have to think about the economy. With the attacks on the Citadel, credits are not as easy to come by. They can't go handing weaponary out willy nilly.

Yet again the ending isn't the actual ending and EA are to bring out DLC that will make sense of it all. Money grabbing to55ers.
One thing I will say though about ME3 is they've brushed up the voice acting and cinematics and the game seems more like a film at certain points.
