The fact that his people are frantically deleting tweets that refer to immigrants as an "invasion" or "infestation" is perhaps the clearest admission of guilt from this administration to date.

There are almost no words for the awfulness of what has now become a regular occurrence in the US; and the intellectual gymnastics required to suggest that easy access to automatic weapons is not the main contributory factor, is excruciating to behold.

He was constantly thwarted in his attempts to do so.

Clinton banned automatic weapons though - and gun deaths decreased dramatically; Bush allowed the ban to expire, and colour me surprised, they rocketed again.

It's so loving simple, it beggars belief that it even has to be discussed; were the Republicans not in hock to the NRA and their money, it wouldn't even be a conversation - they would just do it.

Don't get me wrong here. Gun control in the states seems like a no brainer from the outside. You would have thought that the citizens of the USA would be banging on the white House doors insisting on it. But successive administrations have failed - not just trump

I don't get the point? Trump is, somehow, the POTUS, and in the absence of a TARDIS, it seems entirely reasonable to look to him to deal with this issue, rather than whatabouting previous incumbents. Yes?
