Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Amsterdam for my 30th next month :DRUMMER:

Madrid in May, just an amazing city.

Either Chile, Peru & Bolivia or driving the north coast of Spain around August time hopefully, haven't decided yet.

Pffft! you young'uns don't know what the word honeymoon means.

Its our 30th wedding anniversary this year and we still haven't had our honeymoon yet, we had a day off work and that was our lot

And pffft! to Vegas too, did it 40 years ago when it was a gangster and prostitutes town, they ruined it with all those "themed" hotels

Same here. We are camping at St Ives Bay in August but before that, in May I'm walking the West Highland Way with my eldest daughter and brother-in-law.

No but what they do have is an area in the shade wherepeople park cars with dogs in them, there is security around to keep an eye on things too.

Great shout. Are you going with full packs/tents, day bags or what? Also in May you should not be too bad with the mossies though pick up some neat DEET wherever you can find it, the general store in Tyndrum has some under the counter ;)

Och aye the noo, was the madges a meant!

I did the WHW about that time of year, and with plenty of DEET it was very tolerable, but I was told that later on in the year, it becomes many factors worse. Relying on those assurances, from folk that sounded as if they know, I've never actually tried July-August!

But at that time of year we did enjoy it, there were only a couple of spots where the midges were really bad. One time we woke up thinking it was quite dark, turns out about a squillion of the buggers had settled on the tent!

Just from my own experience I wouldn't put anybody off doing it early doors, we right enjoyed it.
