That same week I went to North Landing on Flamborough Head, completely deserted, absolutely stunningley beautiful in the mid day sun, had a picnic on the clifftops and everything, no bloody foreign interlopers from down south to spoil the ambiance with their loud chatter and nylon sports clothing - it was a blissful day and if there is a god then I was left in no doubt that I'd just been to his favourite place.

Is this "stunningley" anywhere near Knottingley?

Was that up the Central Tower?
If anyone is part of a group of any description who fancy a trip up the bell tower then just give me a PM, as my dad is a member of the York Minster Society of Bell Ringers and they are happy to organise tours of the bell towers.

Yes its the Central Tower, was much more fun before they introduced the "traffic light, one way" system for the spiral stairs - stairs so narrow that wide people need not apply and when they had people going both up and down at the same time it could get very cosy indeed.
