A sad day for her family - a sad for many who saw some of the good things that she did.Perhaps all of those dancing on her grave who like to suggest
1. How the unions would have been controlled if she had not done it - Callaghan could not have done it
2. How would Labour have manged the transition from a manufacturing base to a service base given the rise in manufacturing influence from the Far East during this time.
It is a shame that John Smith died when he did because he probably could have made a good PM - certainly more gravitas than the youth who eventually rose to power
