The point still stands, unless of course, you know when all restrictions will be lifted.
Unless these 2 clubs relocate to the UK, the players and staff may also have difficulties travelling, without quarantine rules etc.

The one certainty is that people will be able to travel in their own country sooner than there will be "free" travel inter country.

There could also be issues for Toronto players, traveling in their "home" country of Canada, as none of them actually live there

Coronavirus in a nutshell in the current Q&A.

Question comes from Cornwall - Hoteliers and others fear they will lose the whole season if they do not reopen by July. What can you do to help?

Followed up by - Sir Patrick Vallance hinted this week that some areas of the country might come out of lockdown sooner. If that were to happen, what help would the police get to deal with the influx of people?

I can see a BIG problem here.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Now do you see why I singled out these two clubs ?

The immediate future doesn't look great for any spectator sport but, travel between different countries will take longer to sort out than any domestic travel, especially as far as spectators are concerned.

Neither club brings very many supporters to games here - I don't see that as a problem.

I don't see how you can have a competition if one of the sides cannot play - it is unrealistic to expect players to be away from their families for months on end. If one player in a squad gets it does that mean the whole squad has to have 14 days off plus any teams they have played against?

You dont half talk some cr@p.

What about supporters travelling to the games in France or Canada or, more importantly, the players and staff form the clubs involved.
If they cant compete and a decision is taken to carry on with out them, toe ensure no loss of Sky TV cash, their results thus far would have to be scrubbed and them not participating may help the rest make it to the end of the season ??

All conjecture though, as there will very likely need to be a decision mad as to whether it's possible for the comp to start back up behind closed doors, something that most if not all clubs were against.
Mind you, with options extremely limited, this may still be the best/only option.
