Yeah, York Minster's crap.
I mean, it's too old (built in the 1200's), it's too big and completely out-of-date (one of the largest genuine Gothic cathedrals in the world) and you can see the foundations of Roman and Saxon buildings in the crypt that they have never been bothered to tidy-out.
You can walk where Emperor Constantine walked.
Pfft, rubbish innit?
Whereas, Liverpool's cathedral was designed by a bloke who was better known for his power stations and the red phone box.
But, at least his grand-dad knew a bit about Gothic.
