Mr Mandela expressed his disdain and fears about the invasion to Tone.
Looking at the disaster that has occurred in that country this year I'd say he wasn't far off.

I'm not sure that the former head of the armed wing of the ANC is really in any position to add his his two pence worth of faux outrage, when it comes to moral judgments.

No, I think they were more likely to be bitching about their respective wives. It was Winnie Mandela who said it all: "with our boxes of matches and rubber tyres we will liberate this Nation" I'm surprised she found the time, as Desmond Tutu was heard to remark "that she'd been banged more times than a taxi door" whilst Nelson was lanquishing in prison.

And as for Cherie Blair......what's not to like ,eh?

Now go ahead and tell me how many innocent deaths the ANC were responsible for fighting against apartheid in their own country and then tell me roughly how many innocent deaths the US/UK allies were responsible for fighting a phantom war on terror in a foreign sovereign state?

He could also explain how to tackle a regime that shoots dead unarmed children protesting that they want a decent education.

How droll. Are you attempting to construct a defence of terrorist actions based solely on geographical location? Crack on. This we must hear, although I suspect it will simply be the latest manifestation of Left Wing Feckwittery to be found in bucketfulls on here. The floor is yours.....

And in case you had forgotten. The Allied coalition was made up of 39 countries: Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Kuwait, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

Conspicuous by their absence were those bastions of Civil Rights, and all round good guys, China, Russia, and North Korea. Perhaps the Comrades didn't fancy the weather at that time of year?

One isn't trying to defend any acts of terrorism I'm merely trying to give some balance to your obvious feelings of chagrin regarding Mandela's earlier life.
Your allied coalition signatarees may have some relevant substance but I stopped reading your wiki search after amusingly reading the first country aforementioned.

I don't think he's a big fan of the darkie/muzzie type so I'm in little doubt he'll be able to mentally justify it.

Oh dear. Some balance? I wouldn't be planning on a career in the Cicue du Soliel anytime soon! Is that it? Your well constructed and intelligent rebuttal? Seriously?

One of my New Years Resolutions was to ignore eejits, and folk from Hull. Now, I know that that was an easy option, as frequently they are one and the same, and perhaps you could confirm where you come from?

In the meantime, may I wish you a Merry Christmas
