If you have Spotify I've got a number of playlists Ive set up, many based on lists from music mags, for things like 'post-punk singles' 'punk/new wave'. These would be a good introduction I think.

Yes, I think its very good, very close to ( ) in both sound and spirit, which is a positive thing.....Whilst I don't think they have ever done anything poor, their last record got a bit too close to the mainstream for me - They were almost trying to out-Coldplay Coldplay, which was not a good idea.

It will be interesting to see where they go from here though....
