I would suggest your whole idea of what morality is derives from the Christianity anf the country's Christian heritage. As more people pour scorn on religion and as younger generations are being brought up with little reference to it society will suffer.

Poor parenting has nothing to do with religion, unless their leaving their children unattended with priests.

Erm, no. I know the difference between right and wrong without a book giving me examples and driving fear into me if I didn't do the right thing. Are you saying you can't lead a moral life without being a christian??

What I find difficult and sickening about this thread is the hideous, rabid bile spouted against someone for his beliefs. Irrespective of whether or not people agree with them the comments are nothing short of disgraceful. They smack of desperate attempts to self-justify by people with severe psychological issues.
