And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours (MSP) - Haven't listened to this for at least 10 years. Slated on it's release, can't really see why. :? Must have got better with age.

It followed 'Everything Must Go', which was one of THE massive albums of the mid 90's, and so had huge expectation on it - It was a decent record, but lacked any real 'killer' tunes, so was given mild reviews all round.

If it had been a debut album, or followed a less successful album, then it would have been more highly thought of.

That was violent? Do you go to gigs where puppies, cotton candy and marshmellows are all the rage?

Just watching The Cure live at Reading on the BBC red button. Was far removed from them when they first came on the scene but they've definitely been a grower on me over the years.

Random Hand had the best wall I've seen. Small club setting and heaving. Always a good start!

Just spent the day listening to the new Upbeat Allstars album on repeat. If any of you remember (and liked) Dancehall Crashers, then this is for you.

New EP from Jerramiah Ferrari landed on my doormat yesterday. The month is now complete, I love these lads, and them being from Leigh is totally irrelevant, they're just excellent. I've also seen they're supporting The Skints in Manchester on Oct 6, I see a trip over coming on, two of my favourite bands on one bill. Sorted.
