If you like that, or Rancids material circa 'Wolves', then pick up the new album from South Wales band Detached 'Finding Time'. Well worth the tenner from bigcartel.com

Kill the DJ has to be one of the worst songs they've ever done.

With the rugby season now over, why not spend the winter months checking out some of the great Warrington Bands and Original Artists.

[WAM] is a multi platform project with a non partisan approach covering all genres, in a attempt to revitalise the Warrington Music Scene.

Would appreciate it if you could spread the news about the site! Do you watch live music often?
Have you seen a unsigned band from your town you've liked recently?

I got the new Coheed and Cambria album the other day. As with all their work it's really good, a fantastic mix of styles and a bit more aggression on a couple of songs which is good. Quite why they've released them as two mini albums, one now and one in March is beyond me though. With the intro and outro ditties they do, there is only really six or seven songs on the album.

Agreed.

If I have one minor criticism, the need to use the F-word seems overwhelming these days.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

Yeah agree mate, seems a lot of bands are doing this nowadays a bit unnecessary IMO but a sign of the times, the album is very Dookie-esque though which isn't a bad thing.

Still waiting on the JJR album, but in consolation have been listening to the new Blackbombers album. Dr Feelgood for the next generation.
