The older I get, the better I was

Advice is what we seek when we already know the answer - but wish we didn't

Because while fundamentalists reject the scientific they also claim that there own religious beliefs are supported by science. Hence why you get organisations such as Answers in Genesis and the Institute of Creation Research publishing books and articles which claim that the scientific evidence supports a young earth a global flood etc. which do little more than misrepresent and distort the work of real scientists.

The problem with this is that a lot of people who perhaps do not have a basic understanding of science believe that such works by for instance "Professor Henry M. Morris PHD." are scientific because the person who wrote it has a PHD and calls themselves a scientists, even if it is a PHD in an irrelevant field such as engineering and the "scientist" in questions has never published any actual scientific research in any peer reviewed journals.

It's been fun.

Amazing how with all the evidence supporting Romney being an absolute batshitcrazy loon who hates half the country, that it only takes one session of not sounding batshitcrazy in a televised debate for people to forget that he's batshitcrazy.

Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.

We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

But you’ve got to keep believing.

It was a totally depressing hour and a half showing just why Jon Huntsman called Romney a "perfectly lubricated weather vane". The only thing more stunning to see than Romney chucking his entire platform overboard was Obama not nailing him for it. I can only assume he was equally amazed and had, foolishly, come prepared to go after him on his previously stated policies. It's quite hard to take someone to task when they stand for nothing and everything.

Or is he...
http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.co ... right-now/

He has a very narrow, but not implausible, window of victory in the electoral college. The country is now so polarised (and, following the arguments of some, the effects of "the big sort" getting so pervasive) that 41 of the states are basically not in play this time around.

You mean the last time when I posted polls of thousands of pepole who agreed with my opinion and because you and one other said you didn't agree with them they suddenly all became irrelevant.

Yes, one had twenty seven THOUSAND replies.

But I guess as the poll outcome doesn't fit with your opinions, it's irrelevant and only your opinion counts.
