Once again the post goes way above someones head. If you know anything about Finkelstein you would also know that his destractors call him a self hating Jew. This term is used as a stick against any Jew who dares to question Israel and it's policies.

There are, however, sadly, people who will conflate Jewish and Israeli, sometimes accidently, sometimes deliberately.

Israel attacks schools, police stations, civilian homes, hospitals, UN buildings and TV/Press buildings. Then trots out the same line time and time again..terroists are/were hiding there.
Israel knows all about the tactics of terror. They have employed them on a daily basis on the palestinians for years. When it suits, as it does now, to also raise it to another level just to make sure all the neighbours get the message.

I'm perfectly well aware of Norman Finkelstein's background and the accusations which have been leveled at him.

After all, I did post the video (which, unlike just about every defender of Israel's actions on here, I have watched) in the first place.

So, what you're saying is - even if they offer peace (democratically agreed upon by just about all UN signatories with the exception of the usual suspects i.e. Israel, the United States and ... erm ... a couple of Pacific islands about to sink below the waves) - they have absolutely no right to defend themselves against an occupying force (defined as such by the very same democratic United Nations)

Israel is illegally occupying Palestinian lands and in the process has murdered countless thousands of innocent Palestinians. For a person so wrapped up with the immorality of actions you seem remarkably willing to tolerate one party's over another's.
