What does everybody think will happen re the voting in the commons this week?

Mays deal will be defeated possibly Tuesday night
The Commons will then vote to take no deal off the table possibly Wednesday
They will then vote to ask the EU to extend article 50 by a couple of months possibly Thursday

I'm scoobied, mate. And I think everybody else is too.

It's like trying to predict which bit will fall off a clown car next.

Why has May had to fly to Strasbourg, has she not heard of video conferencing?

The Referendum Act of 2015 required that the government report to the people of this country on 3 things:

1. The outcome of the negotiations with the EU.
2. The opinion of the Government on the outcome of the negotiations.
3. Information about membership of the European Union (obligations and rights etc).

Which they did via the leaflet. Part 2 clearly states that they were required to inform the UK of the government position, NOT to set out both arguments for and against.

I have had a quick look on the web to try and find the reasons nearly £10 million was spent on this Remain Propaganda Leaflet. so far, I have learnt that Cameron commissioned it as a response to 85% of people asking for more information on Brexit. it was then ratified and signed off by a Tory EU sub committee. A 220,000 petition was sent in against it. However, the response was that It was entirely legitimate for the gov to make its case and there was no legal reason why it could not do so. It was also put onto social media websites and a new website was also set up for it.

Which leads me to two conclusions
1) After the £9+ million spent on this very informative leaflet the country STILL voted to leave
2) I now have an answer to anybody who says we wasn't given enough information.

I'd go with that scenario, followed by endless air miles & more meaningful votes until May's crappy deal (which nobody really wants) scrapes through, with the M.P.'s holidays looming. Followed by the next day, May gimping up to the podium in front of Number 10 with that smug grin, to announce her work is now done & exits the stage ala Cameron.
