Recently, I've been heavily involved with a campaign called the Coalition For Marriage (C4M). This campaign seeks to preserve and protect the definition of marriage which has served mankind well since year dot (the Garden). You will no doubt have heard certain noisy parties in the media declaring their support for an alternative definition of marriage. I respectfully submit that such a reclassification would have a profoundly negative impact on society.

Rugby League family, I need your help.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.
When you rescue a dog, you gain a heart for life.
Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't Eat it or Chew it. Pee on it and Walk Away.

I won't be signing your petition. I'm a happily married hetrosexual female but I am not so bigoted as to believe that two people who are in love and are comitted to each other shouldn't marry because they are of the same sex. They are human beings, same as me, same as you and who am I to oppose two people in love? IMO the sanctity of marriage is about love, friendship, companionship, commitment, compromise and respect no matter what your sexuality.
Sign that ? Not a chance in hell. Marriage should be open to all who want to and not be stuck to an age old belief that only a man and woman can marry.
I reckon the OP might be targeting the wrong demographic with the 'rugby league community', they are mainly lefties, trade unionists on here, they believe in equality and human rights and all that crap.
Go on a rugby union forum for Mr and Mrs Angry of Tunbridge Wells and you'll get more support for your campaign.
