The term is intangible and means different things to different people. Rugby League is a sport / game with a governing body. Is it / the governing body a brand too? In what way? (Nevertheless I have now answered after looking up the commonly held definition of brand - ie a "mark").

I, like most people who got past GCSE's, already understood the meaning of terms like 'core brand values' so didn't need to make a bizarre and patronising post before filling in the survey.

It is a bullshit term so it's not surprising you have some expertise in the field!
