So wondered if anyone on here is trying the same using these Sky Cigs/ VIP Cigs/ E-Lites etc what you can buy on the internet.
Iv'e tried the E-Lites but to no avail these on http://www.swapsmoking.com/ to no avail the flavours just did not do it for me B+H and L+B plus they dont look like a real cig.
The ones Sky Cigs and VIP ones do look real but never tried them so was just wondering if you have used either what is your honest opinion of them both both same or different?.
Best flavour to try, I am a Regal King Size smoker and non of the above did anything for me.
Trying to stop smoking without going cold turkey.

I haven't had one since December: went two weeks with patches and haven't had a major problem since (whether it will survive café society on the Continent this next week remains to be seen).

If you want to go down the e-cig route you’ll have to bear in mind that the ones that don’t look like real cigarettes are the best.
I’ve tried a couple now & the one I’m on at the moment is the tornado tank, however there not cheap.
Loads of flavours, I go with Menthol simply as it gives the best “bite”.

Make an appointment at your Doctor's surgery. When I gave up 8 years ago I saw the Nurse who was helpful with advice and I got patches on prescription which really worked for me.
You still need a fair bit of willpower but if you really want to give up you will.
I never touched a cig for at least a couple of years after 2005, nowadays I can have the odd one occasionally but I've never slipped back into being a smoker. I can go months, even years without ever craving one.

I smoked for 20 years, early days Regal, but mostly Malboro Lights. I have been using VIP e-cigs for a couple of months now and have never thought twice about returning to the coffin nails.
I have used Totally Wicked, a disposable just to see what they were like (given that they are now sponsoring a stand at Langtree Park!). They were fine and although the disposables are expensive (£6.99 for one!), their packs appear to be about average cost and they have both cigarette and cigar like e-cigs available with many flavours, including tobacco.
I use VIP. I have just now cut down the nicotine level from 2.4 to 1.6 and so am on track. They look like cigarettes, although they are a bit heavier due to the battery (and so take a little adjustment when it comes to handling them, but you would get used to them) and they come in two flavours: tobacco and menthol. I think there are just three strengths: 2.4, 1.6 and 0. It cost me £20.00 for a starter kit of one battery, one (PC) charger and two cartomisers (containing the liquid nicotine). I bought a second battery for £10.00. It costs me £10.00 for a pack of five cartomisers which is the equivalent of 100 cigarettes. The St Helens VIP vendor offers a free pack of cartomisers on each fifth purchase although other VIP vendors differ when it comes to offers (Warrington offers a freebie every tenth purchase).
I have never managed to stop the coffin nails at all in the 20 years I have smoked but using e-cigs has been perfect for me because what I missed most about smoking were the things not addressed by patches or gum or cold turkey, namely the holding of the cigarette, more often than not when reading or thinking! Obviously the nicotine is useful too!
I began by halving my coffin nail intake and compensating with e-cigs. After a couple of months doing that, I let go of the coffin nails and went over to e-cigs completely. Within a week I felt a ton better. I no longer cough, I am not out of breath when I run up the stairs or something, my sense of taste changed, which was a bit weird, and I have a better sense of smell (a mixed blessing!). I have saved an absolute fortune, which is valuable just now as I'm unemployed. I also find a lot of people asking me about the e-cigs, especially when I'm enjoying one while reading in the local Caffe Nero!

I jacked about 30 months ago and used this type of thing initially. Problem I found was that 12 months later, instead of worrying where I'd left my fags, I was worrying that the battery would run out on my fake fag. I then went on the patches, gradually reducing the strength and after about 3 months found I didn't need anything.
