This year Town & Gown match will be played on Sunday the 24th October at the Oxford Rugby Club on the southen by-pass with a 14:00ko. The Town & Gown match is the annual Oxford Cavaliers rlfc -v- Oxford University rlfc match and is played for the Jacque Scott Memorial Ttroph.

In the last 3 year the Cavs have won 2 and lost 1

Oxford Cavaliers Haed coach Mr Kev Mason will hold training for this year Town and Gown match on the 24th October. Training will be on Sunday the 10th and the 17th of October 12:00 - 14:00, Kev Mason would like to see as many of you at training. This is onpe to all at the club from the Senior ana The Academy and any old player who would to have a run out.

The Oxford Cavaliers will look to seek revenge in this annual Town versus Gown game held in memory of Jacqueline Scott.
The Oxford Cavaliers are already preparing for the annual Town versus Gown match scheduled at their home ground for the 24th October.

The game which is now an annual event that is played for the Jacqueline Scott Memorial Trophy is one of the biggest rugby events held in the city and both sides will be hoping to put on a good performance for all who attend the day.

The game has a huge meaning to all involved with both clubs and Jacqueline Scott will be in the minds of all involved on the day. Jacqueline, who was killed in a motorbike accident in 2007, was the physio and huge supporter of both sides and the game will be held in her memory.

The game was won by the University side last year so the Cavaliers will be looking for revenge which is why club coach Kev Mason will look to bring things together when training begins this Sunday 10th October at their North Hinksey home.

Both clubs encourage the residents of Oxford to come along and be a part of this special day, it really is an event that deserves to be supported by the people off Oxford. The game will be held on Sunday 24th October 2010 with a kick off time of 2:00pm.

Well then good to see some of you down at training today hope to see more of you next sunday the 17th as the match is on the 24th October. Training is at Oxford rugby club from 12:00 to 14:00 if you like to play on the 24th you need to try and get down to training.

Please let me or head coach Kiv if you can come.

That's it lads, now only 7 days till we hope to seek revenge against the Uni boys. Lets make sure we get in touch with coaches Kev Mason and Andy Rourke to let them know of our availability, they need to know either way.

Need to get that trophy back. All in memory of Jacqueline Scott. Lets put on a show for the people of Oxford.
