Greetings, I have been sent here via 'Greek' who is on this board, he has been keeping me informed about the goings on for the new team.

I know no name has been agreed, but Greek is excited and as he knows I can dabble in Illustrator he asked me to 'imagine' his vision of how a 'Rebels' logo could look

Below are a few versions I came up with, featuring a Roundhead Helmet and the shire rose

(For some reason, they arent showing up properly in 'claret' guessing its the Jpeg format)

Font is easy to change, was just a few ideas of how Greek could see the name and a logo.

only really rough drafts at present, feel could also have RLFC after the name as well.

Will have to check my font list I feel it needs a bolder plainer font

Also feel the 'shorter' name is better as its easier to merchandise

I have been told that Rebels WILL be one of the 5 options so ive started to make a few badges.

Turn it on its side with the top to the left gives an E shape .

Great work by the way.......not sure about the name 'rebels' though.

Yeah rebels is a bit American IMO, outlaws would be better if you're going down that road.

AS only a casual observer of the ermmm 'Northern Rugby' most of the names have always struck me as bringing a bit of the american razzamataz to the sport

As to the names heard so far, I really don't see how they link with Northampton

The idea of 'Revolution' with a vague nod to having ermmm Silverstone on the door step is random (unless looking for some free days out) and as for 'Rebels' being american.... Already got 'New England
Revolution' in the yankee soccer league

Rebels or even Roundheads has a nod to a part of northamptons history.

Although if want something to sum up the town today, maybe 'Northampton fighting (But slightly depressing in a cage) Peacocks'
