TOM BRISCOE has sealed his anticipated switch Down Under. The England winger is believed to have signed a three-year deal with NRL side Cronulla from 2014. Hull ace Briscoe made no secret of his desire to try his luck in Australia. And he has turned down a new contract at the KC Stadium in favour of a move to the Sharks. Briscoe, 22, will link up with England team-mate Chris Heighington at Cronulla next season. And he will join a growing band of players in the NRL, including the four Burgess brothers, James Graham, Gareth Widdop and Jack Reed. He will need to be consistent in attack and defence if he is to succeed in the NRL.

Like Jonny, I thought he was older than 22, he seems to have been around for ages.
Good luck to him, the more English players that we have in the NRL should help long term.

came into the Hull side when he was around 17 IIRC. Will only get better

As a Hull supporter I am sad to see him go. I am first and foremost an Internationlist though and believe the more Brits we get into the NRL the better for the GB/Eng team. I wish a lot more young Brit players would go.

Hock likely to join Tom Briscoe in NRL next year and Sam Tomkins will probably follow the year after.
