It was a bizzarre game with the sending-off, and Widnes also lost Fletcher and Morrison early on to injury, which exposed the lack of weight in their forwards, but Oldham played well, took their chances when they came, got into a position to win the game, and saw it out successfully.
You Fax fans willl no doubt be very pleased to hear that the majority of Widnes fans have now lost any faith they may have had in the coach and have already conceded defeat in this years competitions.
First Half of that post is an honest opinion of the game by looks of it, not something you get often off a Widnes fan
To lose faith after one game is rather poor though, Oldham are a decent outfit and now that Idiot Steve Deakin isn't coaching them should actually do something.
As for conceding defeat in this years competitions... how many finals has Steve McCormack got to and lost? I think he concedes defeat just after a semi final ends.
