2009 will see a massive change in the way the game develops in Germany. We are pleased to announce the following this week.
Rugby League Deutschland are pleased to announce, that a Part Time Development Officer on board. This is a partnership between the RLEF and Rugby League Deutschland. The Website has been updated and is now available in English, as well as German. The Website will see more articles and Interviews with people involved with Rugby League Deutschland and others who are well known in our great Sport. We have just finished an interview with Henry Paul which is available to read on our website in English as well as German http://www.rugby-league.de Alpenstoff Beerhttp://www.alpenstoff.de will once again be Shirt Sponsors for the German National team. Alpenstoff Beer have been involved with Rugby League in Germany since 2006 and has helped us with Post Protectors, hosted Rugby League Events at their brewery A domestic and International Calender is soon to be announced, which will see Germany play at various levels in Germany. The Domestic Programme will see small Local league Programmes building in to a State v State Weekend rather than a national league. More exact details will follow soon. Its planned that Germany will have a U16s team that will play Internationals as well in 2009 Replica Shirts for Germany will be available in the Summer alongside other Merchandise.
