Fax to open retail outlet at Harveys : Wed Mar 11, 2009 6:03 pm
HALIFAX RLFC are to open a retail concession within Harveys, the town centre department store.
Players will be at Harveys this Saturday from 11:00am to launch the club’s new outlet, and the first 200 people to purchase a replica shirt will receive a free family ticket to Fax’s big clash with Widnes next Thursday, worth £48.
Fax chief executive Graham Clay said: “This is a significant step forward for the club, giving us a town centre presence and a retail outlet that will be available six days per week. Harveys is recognised as the centrepiece of shopping in Halifax, and we are extremely grateful to Roger Harvey and his staff for this opportunity.
“To celebrate the opening on Saturday, the first 200 people buying a replica shirt will receive a family ticket to our game against Widnes the following Thursday.”
Harveys Sales Development Manager Tony Murray said: “Halifax is a community club we are a community store. In the current climate it’s important we pull together and help each other grow our businesses. We are delighted to showcase Halifax’s products.”
Fax will have a major presence in the store, with two separate sales areas on the ground floor and first floor, plus a window display.
