Interesting to note that our highest average attendance in 88/89 was when we got relegated. And we averaged more than 1st divivion Bradford in 89/90 when we were in the 2nd division. I will endeavour to find the missing 80s.

These were ALL PAY crowds too remember (including season ticket holders who attended) - not the freebies, half price, count all season ticket holders or 80% anyway and very cheap season tickets like today note!
We also only won 2 games in Div 2 in 76/77 and still got over 1K.

Surely you don't possibly think that some of the people that were watching Northern in 83/84 decided to start watching Fax in 85/86?
