Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
As some people grow older their mental health can suffer. This can also happen when a player has to retire early through a serious injury. I have a suggestion for anybody who this interests or who may have a relative, neighbour or friend who may be affected. It is a pastime that could even turn you into a legend in your own street or an icon in your own cul de sac. Since being made redundant at Crosrol where I worked as an electrical draughtsman until 1982, I have written six novels that cover such everyday events in life as my childhood, school days and family background, employment and some of the many characters that I have known and worked with in Lancashire and Yorkshire, from trips abroad for both work and holidays along with plenty tales from the rugby league world. People who I have talked to about this have told me that they might find it an interesting way to spend time on but that they would need help to do it. For such people I have also written three pages of advice. If this interests you, look at my web site (geofflee.net) and then E Mail me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and I'll send these pages to you.
