Not sure I agree. The club should not be making financial assumptions about reaching certain stages of knockout competitions as it is recipe for disaster. The money will only run dry if a) the RFL fine the club or b) the club did make daft assumptions.

We replaced the sponsor - the pre-season friendlies wouldnt have brought much into the club.
