Where did Pattersons kicking game come from anyway. Did he just pipe up in training last week with "You know what boss I happen to be spit hot at goalkicking"
Brilliant though without a doubt. on the night I'm not sure even Holly would have kicked all 12
Ironic that we started with a major worry and now we have about 14 decent goalkickers!
Not the right time to criticise (if there ever IS a right time), but LP never goes for the outside when he's on the wing, and never draws the man or uses his winger when he's in the centre. Worrincey was wasted last night. LP always tries hard tho, and a fantastic kicking performance, but it'll be nice to see Goddard add quality centre play to the team

I think there is enough runnng into touch without pats obliging.
Patterson is outstanding - he does everything right, and his defence is superb. he does two men's jobs out wide and knows when to come in. Id prefer to see him on the wing, but the current situation requires him to play in his original position. And a fine job he's doing too.

I noticed he didn't have to do much driving the ball up due to the amount of possession we had during the match - so no need to help take pressure off the forwards.
I think he should be given the chance as first choice kicker and see if he can keep consistency in more pressurised matches.

Lets hope Pattersons kicking stands up when the pressure's really on, he kicked very well on Thursday but it wouldn't have mattered if he'd of missed 4 or 5 kicks. Just hope everyone doesn't expect him to kick at 100% every week now!
