Yes deffo left Sunshine Coast falcons , his friend , teammate both for the falcons and Italy Daniel Atkinson posted on instagram today ‘ already miss my mate ( Jake maizen) good luck in the land ‘ and a small England flag ,make of that what you will .

He's signing for Halifax Town to pair up with their mysterious German star.

I hope we have signed Jake that type of signing is what can get fans excited for next season. Also and it is no surprise as he as been pictured in preseason training Cole Oakley as signed for another year from a physical point of view he looks the part but we all know it takes more then just a good body to be a good rugby player.

It can’t be long now till maizen is announced, Keyes , jouffret, kav , all following on instagram, plus cash generator Halifax and he’s taken a pic of walmsey with his dog in the frost/ snow .

Brilliant signing this , just what we need , can play wing , centre and fullback ramping up competition for places and fax have a very explosive back line now .

Very happy with this signing lets hope the lad can live up to expectation if so we will have a very good player on our hands.

Potential to be a very good signing for us and fills the empty centre spot we have. At this point I think our squad looks pretty complete, we have cover in pretty much all positions and I think overall we do look quite a bit stronger than last season which should be enough to put us around that 3rd spot and maybe compete with Fev and Toulouse which would be nice. Again though as has been mentioned before, the one thing we can look forward to is playing some good rugby, we have exciting talent all over the pitch and in that respect it should be another enjoyable season.

Aye, this looks a good signing from what i've seen of him albeit his hat trick was against Scotland with Lachlan opposite him. What Fax have now is real pace and as we all know that's summat that can't be taught and with a few flyers it really gives the opposition food for thought. Can't wait for the season to arrive. Up The Fax!
