do hope we have not signed him.just not a fan.i know the points he has scored etc. but just feel he is the kind of player that when it really matters goes missing.

If we have signed him then im personally really pleased with it. The lad has scored tries and kicked goals for fun at every club he has played for. Imo he only gets slagged off because he is seen as a danger by opposing fans. We did the same, but deep down as an opposing fan you fear his capability and contribution. Every player has their strengths and weaknesses but i believe that Nanyn brings more to the table overall for Fax than any other centre we could have realistically picked up. I also cant see why Halifax fans would want to put the guy down before he has even pulled the shirt on...time will tell to see who eats the humble pie!

Trust in Rhino and all that!

hes a big centre who scores tries for fun, and a proven goal kicker....with Mick, patto, Rob, White, Haley, fieldhouse and tyrer, our outside backs have only improved from last year.

who would you rather have MN or Nash?

my answer would be Mick, if he has signed, which seems likely, welcome and good luck. if him and tyrer can grab 15 each and rob and whitey continue from last year we are gonna be in for a good year!!!!

and we wont miss many conversions either!

Nanyn is another reason I'd love to see more stats for the Championship... How many tackles does he actually miss? Yards compared to other backs etc etc.

I think the criticism of hos defence often comrs from jealousy of his attack. In Tyrer and Nanyn you would probably have the two best centres in the league IMO... Though both best on the left and want to be lead kicker so bit of work for Harrison there

your not far wrong, add to that probably, in my opinion anyway the two best wingers aswell, and we are looking pretty good.

now all we need is a massive pack to lay the platform, and a clever HB combination to unlock the defence!!!!  :D

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

top signing in my opinion, one of the best centres in the league, harrison will get the best out of him! so in the centres we have paterson, tyrer, haley and nanyn will be interesting to see who the starting centres will be.

Or Centre.

Irrespective of whether we've got Nanyn or not I'd go with:- Rob, Tyrer, Reittie, White as our backline.

Nanyn maybe a very useful sub covering Centre/2nd row but I've never noticed the necessary aggression for him to be effective in the pack.
