And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

The weekend starts on a Monday.

I agree it`s certainly time someone did however I have to wonder why the stadium manager allowed it to become a dumping ground given the amount of " hidden space " there is in the stadium . Anyone else looking to think of leasing it would be put off ,who does all the rubbish belong to ?
If nobody is paying rent on the place it should be empty and ready for someone to lease it .

Some one earlier in the post said Town had been negotiating with the council for this space.
Perhaps during the negotiations Town could have put a curtain up to hide the mess. Come to think of it they could use the blanket they use on match days to cover our very large well stocked trophy cabinet.

I can't understand why fans are bemoaning the shay.To me now it is like a palace of which i'm really proud of.Even Preston officials commented
on what a splendid venue it is last night. My time at Shay goes back to the 70s as a nipper when grass/shail/rust were the order of an embarrassing shay stadium so we oldies see it in a different light now.

With respect it's usually me who has been accused of rose coloured spectacles, head in the ground, etc etc, but I have to say that look out on the ground from the East Stand bar and everything looks as you say. Enter the ground from the South Stand area and as Mr Abbott said it is a disgrace.
Some of the upstairs room are now looking shabby and lets not forget the council promised new drainage an electronic scoreboard and an improvement to the skeleton between the South and East stands. None of this happened and I see no reason why it will in the future. The council will let it fall further into disarray.
As I remember Mr Abbott promised all of this with a reduction in rent for both clubs. How? by utilising the stadium.
But hey, lets not look to a bright future, lets look forward to the days of grass?shale and rust.
The Bubberites/Luddites vitriol was not solely to stop his purchase of the Shay it was also intended to drive him away from HRLFC hence the attack on not only his idea for the Shay but also his integrity over Heartbeat of Sport and worst of all his family.
No disrespect intended to our co tenants.

Incorrect about the drainage, significant drainage work has happened over the summer. The work was paid for by sandal BMW. Hence the east and south stands new name.

Was a slight dig at the lack of rent payments by the rugby club over the past 18-24 months, i suspect.

It's time to close the door on this topic now I feel, so we can all move forward. Those who didn't want Reactive to get ownership have got their way. Those who wanted to abuse and alienate TA have also got their way. Personally I found the vitriolic and disgraceful commentary from Town fans toward this topic and especially TA totally unacceptable and for this reason alone I am glad there is now closure so these small minded keyboard warriors can go back to their own puffball forum and leave genuine fans (of both clubs) to enjoy this forum for what it is designed for. Cheerio now................

'Puff'ball? For real? Good to see the respect campaign doing so well in rugby league. I'll jog off to join the small minded lot now and leave you homophobes to it.

Back to your own site by the sounds of it then. You must fight forum fires every day with those Neanderthals. You're in good company though.

Ahhhh, you're that weird council botherer who keeps submitting the FOI requests whilst your cronies high five you. Very strange. What a life you must lead! Get outside and enjoy the sun a bit.

Silly little mouse.
Sugar puffs
Cheese puffs
O,h by the way when we used to shout "well played Blac:e" we were referring to Ben Black not some other player.
Get a life.
Paranoid.
:STUPID:

Had to change it to Blac:e as it got changed to lovely, not a term we use in Rugby League.
As I say Paranoid.
