I absolutely agree with this and have posted such on here. I have no doubt that Liam will prove to be a very good coach and hopefully that's here with us at Fax. I would however have broken the link of appointing ex Fax players for the very reasons you state. Let's see if LF is strong enough to see through the old boys network. Up The Fax!

Nobody complained about his comment toons to Halifax when Finn was appointed assistant coach and they moaned about losing a good coach when he went to the Rams. So why start moaning about his connections now.

Ah the "Season long loan" curse strikes again as AOB goes back to the Giants and won't play for us again this season.

So it wasn't a "season long loan" at all then. I suppose it'll stop the dilemma of who should be dropped - Moore or Inman - and this will hopefully give Inman the opportunity to show us that he's a really good player who should always be picked, but we all knew that anyway.

But then again we have ANOTHER hooker ... Kyle Wood. What happened with him then? He doesn't appear to have "done a Dorro" 'cos he's always there in the pre match warm ups.

I think Kyle is just seeing his time out and will probably retire at the end of the season, think he has a job with eclipse energy anyway as an electrician as part of the deal ,I suppose he could help out in the coaching department.

Gareth Ellis now officially left Hull as assistant coach so I suppose Grix will in turn be shortly announced as his replacement.

And on the subject of AOB, Fax's league record whilst him being with us is: Won 5, Drawn 1, Lost 5 (including that horrendous 42 nil drubbing at Batley) ....... just trying to soften the blow of his departure!
