I have read all the messages on the subject.
The supporter was on one of the official coaches and like yourselves am concerned and give him our full support.
Can INOFFSKII, DIDDLESFAX and PINBALLWIZZARD please contact Cheshire police urgently and report what you saw. The number to ring is 08454580000 or crimestoppers on 0800555111.
The fan attacked is in a serious condition. If you see this message and know who the above are can you contact them with this message.
If any other fan saw anything please ring the police to help them with their enquiries.

is it incorrect what I heard then that the lad wasn't attacked but it was hi-jinx that went wrong? I heard somebody jumped on his back and the lad fell over hitting his head!! Hope the lad makes a full and speedy recovery........ Some of the Fev fans were disgraceful

Well seeing as the place of attack was sealed off today by the police I think you can go that it wasnt a prank.

Heard two versions one was assault, heard that last nite, and then got told today that it was witnessed by a friend of a friend who had seen the incident and said the guy jumped on the lads back and he fell over banging his head saying it was hi-jinx hope the lad makes a full and speedy recovery!!

At the moment Cheshire police are still treating the incident as an assault. If somebody has said that they witnessed it as a prank gone wrong then either the police have not been contacted by said witness, or the information has not been relased to the press yet (maybe as its not credible or that line of enquiry is still being looked into).

As originally requested, if anybody has ANY infromation over what happened (either way) then contact the numbers stated.
