More brawls, more sin-bins, more sending offs. Hock given ten minutes twice. Surely it should be like footie and two yellows equal a red? When will the RL question Leigh's disciplinary record?

On a previous topic I have suggested that the RFL have been prepared to turn a blind eye to Leigh's indiscretions.
ie breaking the salary cap, again.
Beaumonts disgusting behaviour, Offering the Bulls players out.
It is obvious that the RFL want Leigh to get promoted so that their decision to appease us fans re promotion and relegation seems to have worked.
The RFL will continue to put up with Leigh's disturbing behaviour.

No doubt Leigh will claim complete innocence again starting with their coach and quickly followed with another dozen or more letters in the RL press saying they are always the victims.

It's either that or just a coincidence that virtually every week the trouble is in the games they are playing in.

Not one ounce of trouble until Batley went behind on the scoreboard, Lillycrop came flying out of the line and hit Acton without the ball maliciously, watch the video, it was there, it happened, leigh got the penalty.


Next scrum fight.


Acton & Lillycrop kicked off, Red cards, right decision.


Spencer flew ut of the line and mis-timed what would have been a great tackle.


Hock had played well all game and was unlucky to get dragged into a scrap he didn't want, dissent on the other hand is just basic.

Cmon John,I think you do Leigh a great injustice,we haven't broken the Salary Cap unless you know something we don't? As for Derek's behavior?As far as I know most of the accusations are only alleged nothing has been proven,and the RL wanting us to get promoted and turning a blind eye is pure Fantasy if we get promoted it will be on merit.
Today's game wasn't dirty there was no trouble till Batley lost the lead,Hock was first sin binned for descent after the Ref put the Leigh Team on a warning,Acton and Lilleycrop deserved to be red carded ,Hock's second yellow was reaction to being wound up,we are far from being a dirty team,though we were average today in our performance.
Anyway another 2 points today,and 2 more points for Fev and London , should be a very interesting finale to the season.Charlie knows.Wigan Infirmary tomorrow ,fasting after 11am tonight.Mmmmmmmmmm.

In over 50 years of watching RL the curent Leigh club are far and away the dirtiest outfit I have ever come across.

It's always someone else's fault. The common denominator is simply Leigh. Week in, week out. Rowley will have to think of something else if they get into SL because those type of tactics will be soundly beaten by better full time SL players.

You say we've broken the salary cap, again. Any evidence to show that we've broken the cap this or previous seasons?

The brawl yesterday started after the game was won, with 2 players on Higham before Acton piled in. The Featherstone game was unneccessary handbags until Wood got his fingernails out and against Bradford Siejka and Williams were equally culpable as any Leigh players for the indiscipline in the game. That said, I thought we let ourselves down at home to Fax, with some wild overreactions to messy / niggly rucks. That's the one flare up I struggle to defend the team on.
