I am not saying he is a polished full back, but I think he is more dangerous coming into the line rather than being in the mix. He also brings the ball back well from kicks. I get the feeling that there's 'too many cooks' when he plays in the middle when Sherwin and Chase are playing 6 & 7.
I understand what your saying about Mcgoldrick, but i prefer Richard Owen at fullback and the Chase - Sherwin half back partnership, so its a question of where does he fit in when all 3 are playing.
