From what I saw on Saturday night. With warrington being most peoples bet for the grand final, Cas will have no worries of a top 8 place. Lets sort out the refereeing standards, how many other teams this weekend, were given a penallty from the opposition kiking off.

How many teams were offside at the kick-off?


Let's not get carried away: I was as frustrated with Mr Thaler's refereeing as anyone on Saturday night: but the fault there lies with the players who were offside, not the referee applying the rules.

I agree. We should focus on the numerous howling errors he made before we start on him correctly applying the rules (even if he did only apply them to one side).

I wonder how busy it was at the referees meeting tonight, seen as you all are criticising refs!

Ok the above was tongue in cheek, but I thought Thaler was a cas fan?

You seemed to play well in patches again, keep at it for the full 80 on a consistent basis, you'll easily make the top 8. Your younger players if they continue to mature and improve the way they are, maybe even higher. Good luck.

He says he's a Catalan fan but he was in the Tigers bar at HT of an under 18's game last year and had a Wakey polo top on under his RFL jacket.
