Made even better that I've just seen Rob Burrow getting sinbinned in a fight started by Ryan Bailey - who disappeared into the background when the biff kicked off!

Leeds were on a dismal run but are slowly turning it round with results and performance. So it can be done.

Of course it can and we have achieved that plenty of times in the past, yet in your previous post you said:

Why contradict yourself, or are you just a troll?

Obviously we're not privvy to what's going on in the background and whilst the vibes aren't good, the hope is that extra effort is being diverted into the stadium development.

Look Cas have talent. But can they keep up with the pace of SL?

They have been relegated and promoted a couple of times over the last few years.

The 'new ground' is a huge hurdle to get a license next time around.

Cas had a good year for them last time, but everything will be taken into account.

So the 'yo yo' effect won't help their cause. If the season carries on in this manner I would be seriously worried.

Because of their recent relegations you need to be hitting the top 8 to show signs of progress.

You do have some quality there. But do you have enough of it? What also isn't helping IMO is that the teams who were in and around you last year seem to have strengthened their squads and look better teams. Would you say Cas have kicked on? I think you first team can hold up (hence the top 8 finish last year) but your squad as a hole is where you will fall down IMO.

We have a small squad which does not help in the slightest unlike your Leeds team who have a big squad.

Our squad depth is a major issue and is costing us massively at the moment. We were relatively lucky with injuries last season but it's been quite the opposite this time around. Being out of the cup may be a blessing in disguise as we have a chance to rest players and get a few back. A decent run of form through June, July and August could put us in with a shot of the top 8, and weather conditions characteristic of those months have been advantageous to our squad and style of play in past.

With regards to the license application, the stadium and on-field performances would seem to be our only downfall at the moment as the club have made progress in all other areas off the field. The stadium is key though, and if the club's efforts behind the scenes are focussed there at the moment that's fine. However many fans are disgruntled by a lack of evidence to suggest that progress is being made.

Leeds over the last few years have made the most out of going out of the cup. Turn a negative into a positive. I suppose the draw back would be the missing out on the cash benefit which is there for the later rounds.

With the RFL looking favourably on clubs out of the homeland area Cas and Wakie are sitting ducks IMO. So you need to be meeting all requirements on the head to justify why Cas are in SL. Gone are the days of letting results on the paddock decide this. But the current poor form is one thing, but the stadium question mark will probably be your biggest hurdle to overcome. Not only does it need to get moving you need to show where you are with things at the moment, so I can see why the Cas fans are rightfully concerned.

(If you are struggling maybe hook up with Wakie and or Fev.)

Leeds may have a big squad but when some of your big players were out every SL team wanted to play Leeds, if we could put a full team out think we could match anybody like we did against your lot! its not how good you are from 1 to 17 but from 17 to 25 and like leeds we have been found wanting.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

I think the point is we can rest 4 or 5 players on any given day and still compete (We had 4 out on Saturday) but I don't think Cas could really say that. I wouldn't expect you to either but that's the fact of the matter. When we had our poor run we had 9 players out at one time with confidence already low. No team in the country can deal with that.
