"We've got Liam Higgins back available and Brent Sherwin and that helps us."

Broken leg victim Owen isn't expected to play again this season, but Matterson is confident Shenton (hand), Ferres (shoulder) and Widders (knee) are "not too far away".

He said: "We're looking at two or three weeks for all of them.
"We've got to be careful, bringing them back a week or two early has its dangers.

"But we've got games the next two weekends and then a weekend off and hopefully the three of them will be back after that."

Dean Widders was saying that he was back this week, I wonder what has happened to prevent his return.

Then again, as Terry has stated, rushing them back is a bad move.

Good to hear they're all due back imminently though. Let's hope we can pick up a couple of wins without them and then kick on when they do return.
