I have a mate who is a former player at Cas (mentioning no names!!) he states to me that Shenton and Westerman are nailed on Certs to sign for Saints next year!!

Can anyone shed any light!!

Amazing how everyone knows un-named "ex-players".
Shenton is a possibility, the rumours have been going round about this since the start of the season. However, he has also been linked with Leeds, Warrington, Wigan and Huddersfield. To be honest, we all know that agents generate as much 'interest' to push up their client's future wages.
As for Westerman, he has two years remaining on his contract after this season. He has been linked with Wigan, Warrington, Leeds, Bradford, Hull FC, Hull KR, Huddersfield to name a few, so you can add Saints to the list if you want.
