Just looking at our home game attendances so far this season and they are as follows:

Hardly surprising that attendances have dropped given the events of this season, most notably the Bradford game which had almost 4000 less people. Should we manage to pull similar numbers in for the remaining 3 home games we could definitely get over the 7000 mark again but I'm not sure we will be so fortunate with Quins this time having played them in the opening round last year.

It would be great if we managed to pull in 10k+ attendances against Wakefield and Leeds though. The club should be promoting these games as much as possible to boost our average attendance as much as possible.

Some of those figures are rather strange - note increases of 2000 for both Warrington and Wigan's visits yet a drop of 2000 for Salford. All three of those teams are doing better than they did in 2009.

The Bradford gate was a massive drop but understandably with the England world cup game being on the same day, and the kick off being 11.30am.

I think if the Leeds and Wakefield games aren't televised it'll be better for us but I can't see the latter topping 10k.

I reckon the Leeds game will almost certainly be televised which is unfortunate because I think the last time we played them at home and it wasn't on TV we managed an attendance of 11k? Great game as I recall too.

Well had we still been turning in the garbage performances we were 5 or 6 weeks back I probably wouldn't have been bothering, nor would those who I'm taking with me; but as the players are now beginning to show some pride in the shirt, making the trip doesn't seem such a tedious financial sacrifice any more. I suspect there may be some others, encouraged by recent performances, who feel the same way.

I feel the same as Bonzo. But I will unforunatelt be working. The next fixture when I am off is Celtic away, but I have a sneaking suspision I will be making the journey!

I too feel that way. A few weeks back I wouldn't have contemplated going to Wire but the recent performances have got me back hooked with Cas with the passion I used to have and I cannot wait for it.
