Gateshead Thunder appoint Richard Pell as head coach Gateshead Thunder have appointed Castleford academy boss Richard Pell as the head coach for the 2011 season. Pell will take over at the end of this season but will begin Gateshead's recruitment immediately. The Championship One club, who have lost 14 games in a row, needed a new head coach to replace Chris Hood, who is becoming director of rugby. Pell told the club's website: "I am really excited by this appointment and this is logical progression for me." All the best Rich great appointment i think for them |
