I always thought you were the better in the first half with us better in the second. Typically i always watch my side more and never felt we had the composure to win it, the bombed chances proved that in the end. I think that's pretty much summed up our better half to the season also, (the games we lost before cos we were crap were nothing to do with composure however, we were just crap lol). I think we defended well in chunks, but i always felt that KR could go from their own line and score within a couple of sets, using that better composure. I'm a bit gutted we lost of course, but i'll take those defeats over "useless, pathetic, not fit to lace ma boots" defeats from earlier in the season. I think on the whole Hull KRs game plan is pretty simple, but still tough to beat. A good set of forwards who bash you around a lot, with a sprinkling of good angled running from the likes of Newton and then end result being, give Dobson a bit of space to do his stuff. Easy to spot, but so tough to stop sometimes. Also, Charnley didn't half finish his chances well. Looks to have good pace, especially first 20m and caught us out every time. One for the future i guess.
Correct, Rovers play to a game plan and we never stray from it. It's remarkable that it has been as successful as it has really.
You played some outstanding free flowing rugby which cut our makeshift backline to pieces with consumate ease in the second half and on another day you would of had 4 trys the calibre of the one Rangi Chase scored. It was really just poor finishing that cost you
