Industry Paper Some interesting bits: Based on Poskitt’s comments the new deal between the two organisations is estimated to be worth US$500,000. Under terms of the agreement the Metrel UK logo will feature on the club's home and away shirts from the start of the 2011/12 Engage Super League season. Included in the deal are the naming rights to the east stand of the Tigers' new stadium for five years.

They either do or did have a unit there

For the record, Craid has been on the other forum. and they have complained to the media source about their statement.

I think people will find the overall package is worth significantly more than $500'000

Hey, I'd have been happy with half a mill US$ - on current exchange rates that's over £300K which would be a very nice sponsorship deal indeed. If its significantly more, thats even better!

It's all starting to make sense now. Turns out metrels MD lives in Townville. He was in the Smawthorne on Sunday night.
