The problems in the final have been greatly exaggerated in my opinion, when i 1st started watching and playing rugby the crack was what kept me, singing all the songs after games like alloweta, stripping off, and the music man, this was the reason i kept going to Wembley for the final, it slowly stopped however. Going to warrington in the grand final however was a blast to the past, hundreds of Rovers fans going for a real rugby day out and a good drink, the halifax fans were very family orientated and obviously felt a bit intimidated in the pubs, but i never saw any animosity directed at them just hundreds having a right old day. Obviously the tragic events afterwards have had disasterous consequenses but it should not be held against the club or fans

Yeah, Fev fans allegedly putting a Halifax fan in a coma because they lost a game of rugby have been 'greatly exaggerated'.

Obviously the acts of the few should not impact on the many (we've had our fair share of that recently), but you can't fail to see how a serious assault which could result in a murder charge would reflect badly on the Fev club and its fans.

I wasnt refering to that incident when i said exaggerated, the fans were slated for there behaviour in general.
As for that incident i would be careful before you throw accusations, no one has been charged, 2 arrested and released. The Halifax fans were no angels and the man in hospital could quite easily of been a Featherstone Fan

This incident is indicative of Fev fans, ihave never been to cas fev game and NOT seen trouble, but this recent incident takes it to a new level i will never grace their ground and would preffer them never to grace ours, unfortunately your fans have dispelled the family sport view of our game. Coward thug scum comes to mind to all involved, and that expands to people who know or saw what happened but havent come forward to the police. disgracefull.........And your last post suggest you know some information on this incident, if thats the case dont come on here trying to vainly defend what could be manslaughter,go to the police..

You have no idea of any facts surrounding this and there is an ongoing investigation so it would be best not to comment on it until the investigation is complete. Back on topic i very much doubt there will be any trouble at the forthcoming friendly

thats a little rich coming from someone who states "The Halifax fans were no angels and the man in hospital could quite easily of been a Featherstone Fan" Suggesting that you have information that could have a possitive outcome for the accused. like i say divulge this information or be like the other cowardly thug scum who know what happened and stay quiet. and your last statement clearly shows you have no idea how low a regard the so called Fans of your club are held in...

As for PM's we shall see wont we, lets remember OJ Simpson was innocent wasnt he :LIAR:

I'm sorry but that is rubbish - Fev fans were intimidating at the least. Just looking for trouble after the game, hopefully it won't be like that in the games that have been arranged.

Top 8..this year!

Re: Cas v Fev OMG : Tue Nov 02, 2010 12:47 am
To be fair to the Wakie fan that has come on he probably hasn't seen any trouble at POR because the big rivaly is Cas Vs Fev not Wakie Vs Fev. A lot of people will be drinking and with the idiots that are in the Featherstone club and the idiots that are in our club will unfortunatly make trouble at one of the games inevitable.

That said i hope we put a full strength side out at WR just to hammer out a message that we are still a lot better than Featherstone...for now.

For fks sake lets get things into perspective shall we, i have been watching Rovers over 30 years and been to Cas more times than i care to remember. I have NEVER repeat NEVER once seen any trouble at a FRIENDLY in games between Cas and Fev and there wont be any this time. Just remember the very last thing Rovers need after all the crap thrown our way after the final is any more bad publicity

There has never been trouble at The Jungle/Wheldon Road.
