Watching the Beeb this weeknd and thought they were on about somebody else!! n

It is common amongst estranged parents who re-marry.

Means that at least the step kids and your own kids share some common surname, especially where people have younger children.

The actual answer is always miles more boring than anything someone could make up innit!
